A series dedicated to the vast and anonymous army of transient workers who have built and maintain the city of Singapore.
A photographer for the past twenty years, Brendan has made Singapore his home for the past seven years. As an ambitious eighteen year old student, his plan was to become a science fiction illustrator. But through experimenting with mixed media and collage, he was drawn into photography.
"Photography is a vast language. It balances my inner creative spirit with a connection to the physical world. It offers suggestions in the moment and surprises me always with images better than those I sought."
